status screen saver allows you to be notified quickly and easily of changes to your applications while your mac runs in screen saver mode. you can choose any other screen saver you would like to be shown as well as which applications are listed in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
modules
status screen saver comes standard with all of the modules seen here. adding a module that displays information about an application is incredibly easy. first of all, you must verify that the application you are interested in has implemented applescript functionality. then, all you need to do is Create is an application icon in tiff format and an applescript function that returns a number value. module bundles are stored in Status Screen Saver.saver/Contents/Resources/. if you have created a module, please contact logan to have your module included in the standard status screen saver release.
